A. This web page and all the information, content, advice, products and services contained and provided on or through it ("the Site") is owned, produced and maintained by Ambi Consulting a division of Bambi Productions Ltd whose registered office is at 21 A Craven Terrace, London, W2 3QH ("Ambi Consulting"/"we"/"us")
B In these terms and conditions references to "you" and "your" are references to the person visiting the Site and/or, where the visit is being made on behalf of a limited company, the relevant company.
1. Your agreement with Ambi Consulting
1.1 Your use of the Site constitutes acknowledgment of and an agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should read these terms and conditions carefully and ensure that you understand their consequences before proceeding to use the Site.
1.2 You should check these terms and conditions each time you visit the Site as amendments may be made to them from time to time. Unless otherwise stated, amended terms will be effective when posted but will not affect your rights or obligations in relation to any visits to the Site made prior to the relevant posting.
1.3 Ambi Consulting is not and in no way holds itself out to be a solicitors practice. We do not employ any practising solicitors and are not regulated by the Law Society. By proceeding to use the Site and Ambi Consulting you acknowledge that you are fully aware of Ambi Consulting's status.
1.4 Ambi Consulting can refer you to a practising solicitor and/or solicitors practice if you wish to seek our recommendations.
2. Information Contained in the Site
2.1 The Site contains various free advice, information and links to other websites which may be of interest ("the Free Resources").
2.2 The aim of the Free Resources is to provide preliminary identification of, and basic information on, topics. They are designed to be of general interest to you.
2.3 Ambi Consulting will use its best endeavours to ensure that the Free Resources are drafted, produced and maintained with all due skill and care. However, the Free Resources do not form any contract with Ambi Consulting and Ambi Consulting does not hold any of duty of care towards anyone reading or otherwise utilising the Free Resources.
2.4 The Free Resources are published by way of general guidance only and are not meant to advise upon the specific legal issues arising in any individual case for which specific legal advice should always be sought. No liability can therefore be accepted for your failure to seek formal advice relating to your legal issues.
3.1 If the help you require is of particularly complex or of a very high value, Ambi Consulting may (based on the information you provide and with your verbal or written consent) choose to refer you to a solicitor's firm ("the Referral Solicitors") who hold themselves out as practicing in the legal area(s) relevant to your circumstances. We may seek a referral fee for this service, details of which will be provided to you at the time of referral.
3.2 Once the referral has been made, your contract will be with the Referral Solicitors and you will enjoy all the rights and protection afforded to you by the Law Society of England and Wales. Any legal service supplied or failure to supply any legal service will be the sole responsibility of the Referral Solicitors and will be subject to their terms and conditions and those of the Law Society of England and Wales.
3.3 Ambi Consulting will use its best endeavours to select as Referral Solicitors only solicitors who are qualified to practice in England and Wales and who hold themselves out as practising in the legal area(s) relevant to your circumstances. However, Ambi Consulting cannot accept any responsibility for any legal service supplied or failure to supply any legal service or the level of expertise of the Referral Solicitors.
4. Exclusion of liability
4.1 To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ambi Consulting will not be responsible in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any indirect, consequential, special or incidental damage or loss arising from your use of the Site including (but without limitation) any loss or corruption of data, loss caused by a virus, loss of business or profit or anticipated savings, loss or damage to property, fines or penalties levied by any taxing or other authority, or any loss or damage to any third party.
4.2 Ambi Consulting will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Site is protected from viruses. However, we cannot guarantee that this is the case and it is recommended that you use your own virus-free protection software. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to computer systems as a result of a virus or any other effect upon downloading any information from this website or receiving any email from us.
4.3 You acknowledge that email messages sent over the internet are not encrypted and are not secure. You accept that Ambi Consulting cannot be held liable for any breaches of confidentiality that may occur as a result of the use of email. If there is any sensitive or confidential information which you do not wish to communicate by email, please contact us by telephone or post to arrange an alternative method of communication.
5. Intellectual property and ownership
5.1 Ambi Consulting is the exclusive owner of the Site and all database rights, patent rights, and other intellectual property rights relating to the Site and its content, documents, data, design, text, images, graphics, layout, functioning, software (including applets) and source code. All rights relating to the Site are reserved.
5.2 The following uses of the Site are strictly prohibited: Any sale, licensing, rental, distribution and any publication, posting, framing, reverse engineering or modification of or derivative works from the Site.
6. Privacy and confidentiality
6.1 Save for those details divulged (with your express consent) to Referral Solicitors, all personal details and information held by Ambi Consulting are treated as strictly confidential and are not provided to any third parties.

8. Suspension and termination
8.1 Ambi Consulting reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time.
9.1 The laws applicable to the Site are the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Any dispute in relation to these terms and conditions and/or the Site will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
10. Entire agreement/severability
10.1 These terms and conditions form the whole of your agreement with Ambi Consulting in relation to your use of the Site and supersede any prior representations, inducements or agreements relating to its subject matter.
10.2 Should the courts strike-out as invalid or unenforceable or otherwise alter any part of these terms and conditions, the remaining terms and conditions shall remain valid and in force.
"Ask Ambi" Terms and Conditions
- Ask Ambi takes confidentiality and privacy very seriously, in the case of publication of an answer to a Userís question no names or email addresses will be used or published.
- All content and material within Ask Ambi is provided general information and entertainment purposes only and should not be treated as legal advice or a substitute for legal advice.
- Ask Ambi reserves the right not to publish any material that it deems immoral, offensive or illegal in anyway.
- Ask Ambi is not responsible or liable for any action (s) taken by a user based on the content of this website or from correspondence with Ask Ambi or one of itís representatives.
- Ask Ambi will pick questions to be answered at its absolute discretion. Ask Ambi cannot enter into personal correspondence with Users or guarantee that a Userís question will be answered on the webpage.
- The concept and all intellectual property rights of Ask Ambi belong to Bambi Productions Ltd. Any unauthorized use will be subject to legal action.
By accessing this site and/or submitting a question to Ask Ambi, a User accepts the terms and conditions as set out above and agrees to be legally bound by the same and accepts that Ask Ambi is not liable in anyway for any loss or damage arising out of misuse of the site and/or Ask Ambi service that is in breach of these terms and conditions.
- These terms and conditions along form the entire Agreement between the Parties. Should any part of these terms and conditions for any reason be declared invalid, the remaining sections shall remain in force, as though the section declared invalid had been eliminated. In such circumstances the Parties agree that they will execute the remaining sections of the terms and conditions as a fully constituted Agreement.
- This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
